About

Dr Lisa Byrom is a Specialist Dermatologist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

She graduated from medical school at The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and went on to obtain a Master of Philosophy (thesis: “The influence of pregnancy, parity, and sex on melanoma prognosis”).

Dr Lisa Byrom completed Dermatology specialist training across Queensland at tertiary hospitals and private clinics, including Greenslopes Hospital, QIDerm, Mater Health Services, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Nambour Hospital, Clinic One, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

She a current reviewer for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology and the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. She has presented nationally and internationally, and has been an invited speaker at the World Congress of Dermatology, Australasian College of Dermatologists ASM, and Australian Dermatology Nurses' Association .
